The console also offers such controls as an easy-to-use start button, up/down arrow keys, and a quick-start speed option. The speed option is particularly handy, with buttons to skip directly to 3, 4, 5, or 6 miles per hour in a flash. You can also increase or decrease the speed using the up/down arrow buttons. And to make your workouts more efficient, the console offers five exercise programs that help you vary your exercise routine--a critical factor for people trying to get in shape.

We are not marathon runners, nor are we training for any type of athletic competition. We are starved for time and have become a little to sedentary, and we both came to the conclusion that we should keep up with a good walking routine for our health. We did not need all the bells and whistles that other treadmills come equipped with. This machine has everything we need and nothing we do not. It counts your calories burned and continuous heart rate throughout. No buttons to move from calories to mileage to pulse...it's all there in front of me as I walk. I even did a light run and it was great. |
